The Communications & Engagement team brings together content, marketing, publicity, public relations, media engagement, outreach, audience development, and the lean logistical work required to carry out these activities.

The team works cross-functionally with other teams to ensure engagement and amplification are tied to specific project needs, audiences, and actions.
Responsibilities
Creating awareness of the problem the project is addressing.
Encouraging informed public discussion about how Nigerian students choose courses and universities.
Explaining the solution the project is developing.
Communicating the project’s research, findings, progress, and needs.
Publicising surveys, interviews, data-collection activities, and other research exercises.
Reaching secondary-school students, university students, graduates, parents, teachers, schools, institutions, and other relevant publics.
Encouraging people to complete surveys, contribute their experiences, volunteer, join the project, share its work, or support it.
Developing and distributing content across appropriate platforms and formats.
Building relationships with journalists, media organisations, creators, communities, and other distribution partners.
Coordinating the practical outreach and distribution activities necessary to reach intended audiences.
