Making the work usable

Production & Implementation

This team turns research into usable resources, delivery systems, and public outputs that can actually help students.

Operational Goal

The Production & Implementation team is responsible for turning research findings, evidence, recommendations, and existing project knowledge into useful resources, interventions, systems, and activities.

Going question

What should The High School Project make or do, based on what the evidence shows students need?

As implementation expands, members of other teams may contribute substantially to this team’s activities.

  • Translating research findings into practical product and programme requirements.
  • Determining which resources, interventions, tools, or delivery formats should be developed.
  • Designing and producing course profiles, university comparisons, rankings, interviews, databases, guidance materials, workshops, digital tools, or other recommended outputs.
  • Building systems for collecting, reviewing, organising, updating, and publishing information.
  • Testing prototypes with intended users.
  • Coordinating pilots and implementation activities.
  • Working with schools, universities, student groups, graduates, and other contributors involved in production or delivery.
  • Incorporating feedback and evidence into successive versions of the project’s outputs.
  • Establishing operational processes, quality standards, timelines, and implementation responsibilities.
  • Working with Communications & Engagement to distribute outputs and reach intended users.
  • Working with Partnerships & Funding to determine the resources, institutional support, and relationships required for implementation.
